a part of history

we were here yesterday afternoon

actually we watched the live simulcast from Quest field with the other 22,000 Boeing employees and retirees.

One of my favorite parts was when they showed videos of each of Boeing's 7-series planes (707, 727, 737 etc.) and they asked for those that worked on the planes to stand up. Love this picture. It has to feel great to be a part of history.

They also showed live feed from around the world (Japan, Italy, Wichita :-) ) of other employees, customers and suppliers that like us were watching the event. Very cool to live so apart but at the same time be so connected and all are part of this new airplane era.
