Love the colors on my easter basket. Looking at it makes me happy. Color rules!
this weekend:
- Mark, our neighbor Amy and I went to the Easter vigil Saturday night.
- Sunday afternoon we had late lunch/early dinner with Paul and Amy and their kids Sam and Emma. It was very nice to spend our first Easter in this new home with our new friends. Lots of football, home decor and craft conversations!
I am re-reading The Lord of the Rings - Here is a quote I love and I wonder if J.R.R. Tolkien was making referrence to easter by any chance? “All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost; the old that is strong does not wither, deep roots are not reached by the frost. From the ashes a fire shall be woken, a light from the shadows shall spring; renenwed shall be blade that was broken, the crownless again shall be king.”
