going green, xmas cards & militia ball

I am attempting to be more green;

• we changed a lot of our light bulbs into energy-saving ones
• I am starting to commute via train to work on monday
• I am using the scrapbooking paper supplies I have rather than purchasing new ones

Got about 11 xmas cards done last night. instead of creating 11 different ones (like I did last year), I made them all the same (well not the same but I followed the same process) and it was fun and fast. I used some of my favorite paper from Elsie's Betty line and lots of squares. I am all about squares these days.

Mark and I are getting ready for the Militia Ball tonight. gotta go get ready...
